15 Day Foundation Training – Dates

EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) / EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) Core Competencies & Certification

Please Note – EAP/EAL Foundation Training Programs are 15 days and both EAP and EAL students attend the same training, learn core competencies, and either EAP facilitation or EAL facilitation processes.

All equine assisted therapy students learn the core competencies across 3 areas including –

  • change facilitation, underpinning theory and practice methodology;
  • Horses, Horse Safety & the Role of the Horse
  • the unique change dynamics in equine assisted practice

West Australian (WA) Workshop

Date: Sunday, March 8, 2020

Who are the presenters?

The workshop is presented by Louise Atkinson, ACA Registered Counsellor, Horsewoman and EPI Foundation Practitioner Trainer.

Lou has been a natural horsemanship trainer since 1996, now works with individuals, teenager to adult, women’s groups and corporate groups. Lou specialises in addiction recovery support as well as trauma therapy. Additionally, Lou has developed a business essentials program to help new practitioners start up their own businesses.
