Kia ora, I am a counsellor in North Canterbury, South Island, Aotearoa New Zealand. I am able to offer a range of therapy modalities in my private practice, which includes ACC therapy for sensitive claims. My background includes mental health nursing in child and adolescent settings and in the field of eating disorders. A significant focus of my work is supporting individuals and their whānau in exploring growth and wellbeing following trauma. I completed a dissertation in trauma informed care, this informs my practice and my collaborative, wholistic approach to working with people.

I currently live in North Canterbury and four beautiful horses join me in the sessions of equine assisted therapy that I am able to offer. The difficulties that are often brought to these sessions include PTSD, depression, anxiety and social struggles.

I am able to offer the Horse Wisdom Programme for young rangatahi/children and teens. I also provide supervision to other health practitioners and psychological support to health care
workers.
